Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

Who we are

Andromeda Jewellery operates andromeda-jewellery.com. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@andromeda-jewellery.com.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, email, delivery and billing address, phone number and what you bought. Payment details are collected by Stripe, our payment processor, and never reach our servers.
  • When you subscribe: your email address and the page you subscribed from.
  • When you write to us: your name, email and whatever you tell us.
  • When you browse: anonymous, aggregated performance and usage data through Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you.
  • On this device only: your bag, wishlist and delivery country, stored in your browser so they are there when you come back. We cannot see them.

Why we use it

To make and deliver your order, answer your messages, send the newsletter you asked for, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations, for example keeping records of sales for tax. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, your consent (newsletter) and our legitimate interest in running the shop safely.

Who sees it

Stripe (payments), Vercel and Neon (hosting and database, EU and US regions), Resend (transactional email) and the delivery carrier named on your order. Each only receives what it needs. We do not sell or rent personal data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Messages for two years. Analytics data is aggregated and not linked to you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing or withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@andromeda-jewellery.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
