Terms and conditions
The plain terms that apply when you buy from us.
The contract
When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We accept it when we email your order confirmation. If a piece has sold in the moments before payment completed, we will tell you at once and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery is shown separately at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe at the time of order. If a price is obviously wrong we may cancel the order and refund you.
Descriptions
Every piece is described and photographed as accurately as we can. Natural stones vary in colour and pattern, and handwork carries small irregularities; these are characteristics, not faults. Weights and measurements are approximate.
Delivery
We dispatch within two working days. Delivery estimates are given by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Risk passes to you on delivery. Import duties outside the UK are the recipient’s responsibility.
Returns
See our returns page. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Bespoke work
A commission begins when you approve a sketch and quotation in writing. A deposit of half the price is taken at that point and the balance before dispatch. Because bespoke pieces are made to your specification they cannot be returned unless faulty.
Intellectual property
Designs, photographs and text on this site belong to Andromeda Jewellery and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything the law does not allow us to exclude.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions to hello@andromeda-jewellery.com.
